Sweet little Bridget came to us when one of our rescue partners got a call about a family whose dogs had an accidental litter of four puppies. Our rescue partner reached out to us to see if we could take in two of the puppies. 

Bridget arrived with her sister, Twiggy, and they are a fantastic pair that gets along wonderfully and can be adopted together. We can separate them if there is another young and playful dog in the home. We are looking for owners who are not gone long hours during the day and, ideally, have a safe and secure backyard for the pups to play in. 

Bridget is a lovely dog with an easy temperament. She gets along with everyone she meets, including people, dogs, and even cats! If you are looking for a perfect pup and sweet companion, Bridget is the one for you!

Poodle/Bichon mix, female, 4 yrs, 15 lbs

Cici was abandoned on the streets of San Fernando Valley. She was infested with fleas, undernourished, and had a mangled, broken front leg. Luckily, the kind person who found her contacted our rescue. We immediately took her to a specialist who initially thought that her leg couldn't be saved. Thanks to a successful surgery, Cici made a speedy recovery in just a few months! 

Now, Cici is looking for a patient and loving forever home. She is a bit shy initially, so she needs a home with someone who can give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. A home with another dog would be ideal. Cici's best friends, Lilo and Tali, are also available for adoption and would be happy to be her playmates!

Cici needs an adult-only home with a safe and secure backyard where she can run around, as well as owners who are not gone for long hours during the day. Potential adopters should note that she requires full grooming every 6 weeks. If you're looking for a special, loving pup to add to your family, Cici might just be the perfect fit!

Toy Poodle, female, 10 yrs, 9 lbs

his is Coco, a fabulous Toy Poodle who is the perfect companion! 

Coco's owner's adult children took her in when she passed away. Not more than a few months later, they dumped her at the shelter, where the poor dog was terrified. We took action and got her into a wonderful foster home. 

Coco arrived with a double ear infection, a mouth full of bad teeth, and flea-infested. She was treated by our vet, who told us she has a low-grade heart murmur that does not require any medication at this time. We also had her full dental done, full bloodwork, and an echocardiogram, which came back with no major issues. She recently had an x-ray of her trachea for some coughing. She was diagnosed with a very slight collapsing trachea, which is very normal for these toy breeds. She requires no medications except for some natural drops added to her food twice daily. 

Her future adopters will need to keep up with regular vet visits so they can monitor any changes. Coco has also had her eyes checked and has the normal, older dog's cloudy eyes, but she has full sight and does not require any meds. 

We have had Coco in our rescue for almost a year now, so we are looking for a forever home for her that will be patient and loving during her settling time. Coco will be happy with an owner working from home or retired. She can be your only dog in the home or with another calm, older dog. She doesn't do well in a chaotic environment. Due to her trachea, she cannot walk with a leash as it triggers her coughing. She can go in a stroller, but she's at her best at home or enjoying a backyard. 

Coco's joy is infectious. She LOVES laying on the couch with you and being by your side. She is a loyal companion who is happy at home. She would do best in a home with a yard to go potty and sunbathe. Coco is such a petite cutie and deserves a forever home that will love and cherish her as much as we do!

Pomeranian, male, 6-7 yrs, 7 lbs

Handsome Dante is a happy, loving, sweet little dog who is pure perfection! He was surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him. 

Dante would love a home with another friendly, happy little dog. He would do best with owners not gone for long hours during the day. He loves dogs and people but could be in an adult-only home with prior Pom owners who know the breed well. 

Dante is an all-around perfect little dog that deserves the best home out there!

Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua mix, female, 

5 yrs, 5 lbs

Lexie, along with two other dogs, were rescued after they were seen being thrown out of a car window. Luckily, a Good Samaritan intervened and got them to safety. Afterward, we were contacted to see if we could take them in. We were more than happy to help!

Lexie is a very small and delicate dog. Due to her size, she would be best suited for an adult-only home. We would like her to be placed in a home with another small and gentle dog, but we may consider placing her in a home where she is the only dog if we find the perfect match. The ideal home for Lexie would be with someone who is available most of the day and can take her along when they go out. However, this should only happen after she has established a strong bond with her new owners and feels secure and at ease.

Lexie is a calm and affectionate companion who enjoys cuddling on the couch or in bed. Therefore, she needs a home where pets are allowed on furniture. She can be fussy with her food and might need some encouragement to eat until she feels comfortable in her new surroundings. We are searching for a loving home that would be willing to incorporate home-cooked meals into her diet, as this seems to encourage her to eat. Lexie is a unique and wonderful little girl who deserves a special forever home.

Maltipoo, male, 5 yrs, 9 lbs

Lilo came to us with two other dogs, Lexie and Lucy, after they were seen being thrown out of a car window. The dogs were terrified and running into traffic, but fortunately, a kind-hearted person got them to safety. She contacted us to see if we could take them in—and we did! 

This adorable guy can be quite shy when you first meet him and might take some time to warm up, but once he does, he will become your constant companion! He would do well in a home with a young, sweet, small breed dog or he could be adopted with his good pal, Cici. A secure backyard would be perfect for him as he loves to run around and bask in the sun.

He is a little anxious around kids, so a home without children would suit him best. He will be happiest with owners who are at home most of the day or work remotely. Being left alone for long periods wouldn't be good for him. Lilo needs grooming every 6-8 weeks and requires daily brushing to avoid matting. He's an amazing pup who has gone through a lot in his young life and deserves a loving, caring forever home!

Spanial mix, female, 12 yrs, 13.5 lbs

Beautiful, sweet Lucy was returned to us after twelve years in a home after her owners had a baby and no longer wanted a dog. Our foundation's policy is to always take our dogs back, no matter how many years they were with their owners.

Lucy Lu is a healthy, affectionate, and good-natured pup who loves people and dogs and is even okay with cats. Her love for all creatures makes her a perfect fit for any loving home. She is a loyal companion who has plenty pep and is happy to show offer her zoomie skills once she gets to know you.

Given how long Lucy Lu was with her previous owner, we are looking for a stable, caring, forever home for this special girl to live out her golden years. We promise that the love and attention given to her she will return tenfold.

Belgian Shepherd, female, 2 yrs, 58 lbs

We received news that Lula was living at a shelter, trembling in fear. We knew we couldn't leave her there, so we made a plan to get her out. Once she arrived at her foster home, she felt safe and loved, and her true personality began to shine! We discovered that Lula is a happy and playful dog.

Our priority is to find Lula a permanent home where she can live as an indoor dog and be a cherished member of the family. Lula loves everyone she meets and needs another active dog in the household. She needs a secure and spacious backyard, as Lula loves to run and play. Experience with the breed would be preferable, but big-dog savvy would suffice!

Despite whatever she might have gone through in the past, Lula has a zest for life that is truly inspiring. All she needs is time, patience, and love to feel safe and secure, and she will become everything you wanted and more!

 Malinois mix, female, 6 mos, 20 lbs

This beautiful girl is Mali, found on the streets abandoned and very sick with Parvo. Thankfully, a kind woman got her to the vet and contacted us for help, and we said yes immediately! Mali had to stay at the vet for a week while being treated. She has tested negative and is now at a beautiful ranch-style boarding that is very savvy with this breed. 

The facility's owner has nothing but wonderful things to say about our sweet girl. She says that Mali is bright and highly trainable. She doesn't need to have another dog friend in the home, but she does need to continue to be around other dogs to be social, especially other Malinois. 

A home that will continue giving her proper training would be best along with a safe and secure backyard for her to play in. Mali is VERY friendly and loves everyone she meets. She is a puppy, and with her breed, she needs an active home to walk and exercise her. 

Mali is stunning in person and a petite girl that will most likely not get larger than 50 lbs full grown. This little love has been through so much in her young life that we want to find her the best forever home out there!

Cairn Terrier mix, female, 2 yrs, 9.5 lbs

Mama Misty came to our rescue when we got a call from a young woman who saw a woman parked on the street with a "PUPPIES FOR FREE" sign. The young lady stopped and inquired, knowing how dangerous it was for the puppies to end up in the wrong hands. After speaking to the woman giving them away, she found out she also wanted to get rid of the mama dog. 

This kind young lady took Misty and her three puppies home and began to reach out to rescues, including ours. We agreed to take the little family and immediately got them to our expert foster, who helped Misty nurture her babies into healthy little pups. 

Misty is a sweet little girl who can be initially shy and skittish but has a very good disposition. She gets along very well with other dogs, so she would be happy to join a family with other pets. She will need a secure backyard to play.

Misty has a lot of love to give and will be a great companion. She deserves a happy, caring forever home.

Schnauzer/Terrier mix, male, 2 yrs, 20 lbs

Riley is the sweetest dog ever! He came to us from a horrible home that kept him and three other dogs outdoors in one cage 24/7! Thankfully, a kind neighbor and one of our vet techs confronted the neighbor, who admitted she no longer wanted the dogs and relinquished them. Our vet tech immediately contacted us to see if we could take them. 

We had her transport the dogs directly to our vet who examined them. The four pups had to be shaved because they were flea-infested and completely matted. They all went to amazing foster homes and learned what real love was. They enjoyed cozy beds, yummy food, and lots of care and affection. 

Riley is looking for his forever family. He is a happy, loving, and sweet dog who would be thrilled to have another dog friend in the home with whom he can play. Riley loves his walks and enjoys cuddling on the couch with you, so a home with dogs on the furniture and owners who are not gone long hours during the day are ideal. 

This beautiful boy has experienced so much in his young life that we want to find him the best forever home!

Cockapoo/Poodle mix, female, 4 mos, 8 lbs

Sweet Shelby was given up at eight weeks old when her previous owners decided having a puppy was just "too much." The owners planned to give her away to the first person who would take her, not caring who she ended up with. Thankfully, a friend of theirs reached out to us and asked if we could take her into our foundation. 

Shelby, an energetic and joyful pup, requires a home with another young and playful dog. She will not be happy as an "only" dog. If you do not have another dog, we have adoptable pups who Shelby adores! We have Toby a 1 year old, male Chiweenie and Tali a 3-4 year old, female, Maltese/Terrier mix. 

Shelby is still very young and needs a puppy-proof home and a secure backyard to play in. Ideal potential adopters are puppy-savvy and are not gone for long hours of the day. Please note that Shelby cannot be crated.

This little ball of energy is ALL puppy and needs owners who are patient, nurturing, and loving. Shelby's breed needs full grooming every six weeks. This sweet little girl is one amazing little pup who deserves caring forever home!

Maltese/Terrier mix, female, 2 yrs, 16 lbs

We rescued Tali from the streets of Tijuana where she was dumped and left to fend on her own. Fortunately, a woman took her in and reached out to rescues in Los Angeles. We stepped up. 

Tali is pure love and bouncy energy. She loves to play, wrestle, and do zoomies with every dog she meets, so an easy-going home that is ok with all that playful energy is a must! 

Tali has never met a dog she didn't like, so this social girl will need another playful pup like her in the home. She's not built to be an "only" dog. 

This charming pup has so much energy and zest for life that she needs a safe and secure backyard where she can run around. If you're looking for a sweet, loving addition to the family, then Tali's for you!

Mini Shepard, male, 2 yrs, 48 lbs

Taz was found wandering on the streets of an area notorious for people abandoning their dogs. Fortunately, a kind-hearted woman rescued him and took him to a boarding facility. However, it became evident that this wasn't a suitable place for Taz, so our Foundation took him in.

This handsome fellow is a mini Shepherd, although we suspect that he might be part Corgi, as he is petite and low to the ground. Although Taz is new to us, our vet staff love him and have great things to say about his sweet disposition.

We are looking for a home for Taz with another friendly and good-natured dog and a safe and secure backyard. Ideal owners would be those who are not gone long hours during the day. 

Taz needs a patient, caring home where he will feel safe and loved. He is a very special dog that deserves an equally special forever home!

Chiweenie, male, 1 yr, 15 lbs.

This boy is all about cuddles and love! 

Toby was found alone and abandoned on the streets. A kind woman treated him for bite wounds on his body and foxtails embedded in his paws. Sadly, the woman couldn't keep Toby at her home, so he had to go to a boarding facility. During this time, she contacted us to see if we could take him.

When we picked him up, we noticed an issue with his eyes. We rushed him to our vet/specialist, and he was in so much pain that they had to sedate him to examine him. He was diagnosed with a deep ulcer in one eye and extremely dry eyes in both. He is now fully recovered and doing remarkably well!

We seek a very patient, loving, and nurturing home for our sweet boy. We know from experience that he will come to you very scared and may do low growling. It took his foster mom two days before he felt safe with her and her family, but once he knew everything was ok, Toby was all about love! 

Toby will thrive with another young and playful dog in the home! He is AMAZING with other dogs and great with kids 13 and older. This energetic pup needs a safe and secure backyard to run around. 

Potential adopters should know that Toby is still in the puppy stage. Men most likely mistreated him but will open up with time. We guarantee it only takes a couple of days for this sweet pup to feel safe and loved. We are looking for a home for this special boy that will give him the time he needs to get comfortable. He's worth it!

Meet precious puppies Willow (female), Fern (female), and Forest (male)! 

They came to our rescue when we got a call from a young lady who was driving and saw a woman parked on the street with a "PUPPIES FOR FREE" sign. The young lady stopped and inquired, knowing how dangerous it was for the puppies to end up in the wrong hands. After speaking to the woman giving them away, she found out that she also wanted to get rid of the mama dog. This kind young lady took the mom and the three puppies home and began to reach out to rescues, with ours being one of them. 

We agreed to take the mama and her three puppies into our foundation and immediately got them to our expert foster, who helped the mama nurture these babies into healthy little pups. They are not ready to be adopted for a few more weeks, but we are starting to take applications. We are looking for puppy-savvy homes with owners who are not gone long hours during the day. Our puppies will need another young dog in the home to play with or they can be adopted with one of their siblings. 

So far, we see that the little trio are happy, healthy, playful, and very loving puppies, and they deserve the absolute best forever home!
