Jack Russell/Parson Russell/Chihuahua mix, male, 4 mos, 16lbs
This handsome little fellow is Bruno!
We are estimating that he will get close to 25lbs. Bruno came to us when an independent rescuer we work with was notified about a dog that was dumped out of a car window in front of a Walmart.
Thankfully, a kind person got him to safety and reached out for help. We were asked if we could take him and we said yes! Bruno is such a lovable, fun, and playful pup! He gets along with other dogs and definitely must have another young and playful dog in the home. He can't be an "only" dog.
We are looking for a home with owners that are not gone long hours during the day and that are puppy savvy. A safe and secure backyard is a big plus for this happy puppy! Bruno had a terrible first few months of his life, so we want to find him the most perfect forever home out there!
Poodle/Bichon mix, female, 4 yrs, 15 lbs
Cici was abandoned on the streets of San Fernando Valley. She was infested with fleas, undernourished, and had a mangled, broken front leg. Luckily, the kind person who found her contacted our rescue. We immediately took her to a specialist who initially thought that her leg couldn't be saved. Thanks to a successful surgery, Cici made a speedy recovery in just a few months!
Now, Cici is looking for a patient and loving forever home. She is a bit shy initially, so she needs a home with someone who can give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. A home with another dog would be ideal.
Cici needs an adult-only home with a safe and secure backyard where she can run around, as well as owners who are not gone for long hours during the day. Potential adopters should note that she requires full grooming every 6 weeks. If you're looking for a special, loving pup to add to your family, Cici might just be the perfect fit!
Chihuahua, male, 5 mos, 8 lbs
Chili was rescued from living in a homeless encampment where his mother gave birth to a litter of five puppies. We worked with one of our rescue partners who helped out by taking the mom dog and three of the puppies, and we took Chili and his brother, Miso.
Chili is a happy, loving, and sweet puppy that definitely needs another young and playful pooch in the home. We are looking for owners who are not gone long hours during the day. Chili will make such a wonderful addition to one lucky family!
Toy Poodle, female, 11 yrs, 9 lbs
This is Coco, a fabulous Toy Poodle who is the perfect companion! Don't let her age fool you! She is a spunky senior for sure!
Coco would do best as your only doggie in an adult-only home or she could be with a calm older dog. She loves to hang out with you, but she is not needy. Coco is happy to sit on the couch by your side and keep you company.
She is a dog that does not need to go on walks but would prefer to just chill at home where she feels most comfortable. Coco does have a slight heart murmur and a slight trachea issue but does not need medication at this time.
She's had a full blood panel and a dental with extractions done, so she is all set to find her forever home!
Schnauzer/Terrier mix, female, 6 mos, 12 lbs
Evie is the most precious little pup ever!
She was part of an accidental litter, but thankfully, the owner contacted us for help. The mama dog got spayed, and we worked with one of our rescue partners to care for all the puppies.
We got Evie and her sister Tasha, and they are absolute dolls! Tasha is a loving and happy little pup who needs another friend in the home who will play with her. Owners who are home most of the day would be ideal, as Evie is still very young. A safe and secure backyard would be perfect since she loves to play and run around!
Evie would be an excellent addition to any family; we know her forever home is out there!
Maltese/Terrier, male, 6 mo, 10 lbs
Forest is the most handsome fella ever!
He came to us with his mom and two sisters (all have been adopted) when they were being given away for free out of a car on a busy street. Thankfully, a kind woman saw what was happening and took them home. She contacted us to see if we could take them into our foundation, and we said yes!
Forest loves everyone he meets! He needs to be placed in a home with another young and playful dog (he can't be an "only" dog) and with owners who are not gone long hours during the day. Forest is such a sweet boy with such a good personality that we want to find him the best forever home out there!
Terrier mix , male, 11 mos, 9 lbs
Meet Gizmo! Is this guy cute, or what?!
Gizmo came to us when he was found all alone on the streets. He did not have a microchip, and we never found an owner during his stray hold.
This cutie must have another young, playful dog in the home along with owners who are not gone long hours during the day. He loves to talk, so an apartment might not be ideal for this vocal little man.
Gizmo loves everyone he meets and is such a happy and playful pup! We know his forever home is out there.
Could it be you?
Maltipoo, male, 5 yrs, 9 lbs
Lilo came to us with two other dogs, Lexie and Lucy, after they were seen being thrown out of a car window. The dogs were terrified and running into traffic, but fortunately, a kind-hearted person got them to safety. She contacted us to see if we could take them in—and we did!
This adorable guy can be quite shy when you first meet him and might take some time to warm up, but once he does, he will become your constant companion! He would do well in a home with a young, sweet, small breed dog or he could be adopted with his good pal, Cici. A secure backyard would be perfect for him as he loves to run around and bask in the sun.
He is a little anxious around kids, so a home without children would suit him best. He will be happiest with owners who are at home most of the day or work remotely. Being left alone for long periods wouldn't be good for him. Lilo needs grooming every 6-8 weeks and requires daily brushing to avoid matting. He's an amazing pup who has gone through a lot in his young life and deserves a loving, caring forever home!
Terrier mix, female, 10 yrs, 10 lbs
Lita is a stunning senior gal who came to us when her owner passed away. Unfortunately, the owner's daughter did not want to keep her. Lita is such a happy, spunky dog with so much love to give!
She recently had a senior blood panel and a full dental done, so she is ready to find her forever home! Lita would do best in a calm home with owners who are not gone long hours during the day. She would love a safe and secure yard to sunbathe in and hang out with you in the garden.
Lita is great on leash and loves her little walks! If you are looking for a mellow and sweet dog, then Lita is the one for you!
Chihuahua, female, 11 mos, 12 lbs
Mini is a stunning red/white long-haired delight! She is a sweetie who loves everyone she meets!
We are looking for a home for her with another dog and owners who are not gone long hours during the day. She is a dog that loves to “talk” and chat with you, so be prepared for some fun conversations!
Mini is a wonderful little dog and will make the perfect puppy pal!
Chihuahua, male, 5 mos, 6 lbs
Miso is a brindle Chihuahua that is absolutely stunning in person! He is the cutest, happiest, and loving little puppy who can't wait to meet you!
Miso came to us when he was rescued from living in a homeless encampment where his mother gave birth to five puppies. We worked with one of our rescue partners to save them and they took the mom and three of the puppies, and we took Miso and his brother Chili.
We are looking for a home for Miso that has another young and playful dog, along with owners who are not gone long hours during the day. Miso is such a special little guy! We know his perfect forever home is out there!
Spaniel mix, female, 7 mos, 12 lbs
We rescued this pretty girl and her brother from a high-kill shelter where their owner dumped them.
Nina is a sweet and happy puppy with a real zest for life! She loves everyone and will do best with another young, playful dog in the home. Owners who are around most of the day would be ideal, as she is still very young.
Nina is such a special little girl who had a tough beginning. We know her loving, forever home is out there!
Doodle/Maltipoo mix, female, 9 mos, 19 lbs
Sweet Shelby was given up at eight weeks old when her previous owners decided having a puppy was just "too much." The owners planned to give her away to the first person who would take her, not caring who she ended up with. Thankfully, a friend of theirs reached out to us and asked if we could take her into our foundation.
Shelby, an energetic and joyful pup, requires a home with another young and playful dog. She will not be happy as an "only" dog. If you do not have another dog, we have adoptable pups who Shelby adores! We have Toby a 1 year old, male Chiweenie and Tali a 3-4 year old, female, Maltese/Terrier mix.
Shelby is still very young and needs a puppy-proof home and a secure backyard to play in. Ideal potential adopters are puppy-savvy and are not gone for long hours of the day. Please note that Shelby cannot be crated.
This little ball of energy is ALL puppy and needs owners who are patient, nurturing, and loving. Shelby's breed needs full grooming every six weeks. This sweet little girl is one amazing little pup who deserves caring forever home!
Yorkie, male, 2 yrs, 12 lbs
This sweet, handsome fella came from a sad situation. Before being rescued, Taffy lived in a cramped cage 24/7 with another dog . Thankfully, a neighbor got the owners to surrender the dogs to her. She then asked if we could take them into our foundation, and we said yes!
We immediately brought them to our vet; they were dirty, matted, without vaccines, unneutered, and clearly unloved.
Taffy is looking for his forever home now and could be an only dog or paired with another sweet and loving pup. Because of how he lived before being rescued, he experiences some anxiety when you leave the house, so we are looking for a forever home with owners who are home most of the day. Taffy also needs an adults-only home where the owners are patient, kind, and loving and will give him the time he needs to feel safe and loved.
He is a lovely dog without an ounce of aggression and wants only to be by your side. He is still getting the hang of potty training and may mark for a few days when you first get him, but he is a quick learner.
He needs a home with a safe/secure backyard to go potty and mark to his heart’s content. Taffy is such a love bug who wants nothing more than the company and love of his human.
Maltese/Terrier mix, female, 2 yrs, 16 lbs
We rescued Tali from the streets of Tijuana where she was dumped and left to fend on her own. Fortunately, a woman took her in and reached out to rescues in Los Angeles. We stepped up.
Tali is pure love and bouncy energy. She loves to play, wrestle, and do zoomies with every dog she meets, so an easy-going home that is ok with all that playful energy is a must!
Tali has never met a dog she didn't like, so this social girl will need another playful pup like her in the home. She's not built to be an "only" dog.
This charming pup has so much energy and zest for life that she needs a safe and secure backyard where she can run around. If you're looking for a sweet, loving addition to the family, then Tali's for you!
Border/Norfolk Terrier mix,
female, 6 mos, 12 lbs
Tasha is an absolute doll!
Tasha was part of an accidental litter, but the owners did the right thing by contacting a rescue for help. The mama dog got spayed, and the owners kept her, but she needed help with the puppies. We worked with our rescue partners placed the puppies into each rescue.
Tasha is such a loving and happy dog who needs another young and playful friend in the home. She would love a safe and secure backyard in which to run around. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal as she is still young. Tasha is such a happy little girl who deserves the best life ever!
Chiweenie, male, 1 yr, 15 lbs.
This boy is all about cuddles and love!
Toby was found alone and abandoned on the streets. A kind woman treated him for bite wounds on his body and foxtails embedded in his paws. Sadly, the woman couldn't keep Toby at her home, so he had to go to a boarding facility. During this time, she contacted us to see if we could take him.
When we picked him up, we noticed an issue with his eyes. We rushed him to our vet/specialist, and he was in so much pain that they had to sedate him to examine him. He was diagnosed with a deep ulcer in one eye and extremely dry eyes in both. He is now fully recovered and doing remarkably well!
We seek a very patient, loving, and nurturing home for our sweet boy. We know from experience that he will come to you very scared and may do low growling. It took his foster mom two days before he felt safe with her and her family, but once he knew everything was ok, Toby was all about love!
Toby will thrive with another young and playful dog in the home! He is AMAZING with other dogs and great with kids 13 and older. This energetic pup needs a safe and secure backyard to run around.
Potential adopters should know that Toby is still in the puppy stage. Men most likely mistreated him but will open up with time. We guarantee it only takes a couple of days for this sweet pup to feel safe and loved. We are looking for a home for this special boy that will give him the time he needs to get comfortable. He's worth it!
Winnie: Min Pin mix, female, 3 yrs, 12bs
Willa: Border Terrier/MinPin/Schnauzer mix, female, 17 mos
Meet Winnie and Wila—a mother and daughter that are a bonded pair!
Winnie was saved pregnant off the streets of Tijuana, where she was dumped and scrounging for food. A kind woman took her in where Winnie gave birth, but only one baby survived—a little girl, Willa a Border Terrier/MinPin/Schnauzer mix who is now almost 7 months old.
Winnie was in bad condition when she was rescued. She had a type of mange that was non-contagious, but nonetheless, it left her skin in terrible shape. With medical treatment—and lots of tlc—she is in absolute perfect shape now!
Both girls are very sweet and loving, non-aggressive, and perfect with dogs and cats. We will only adopt them together as they are very bonded. Their amazing foster home has nothing but wonderful things to say about them.
Winnie and Willa have been through so much together that we promised them that we will find them the best and most loving forever home out there!
