Siblings Andy and Rose came to us after living with an unhoused man who let them run loose outside his camper on a busy street. Thankfully, we were able to convince the man to relinquish Andy and Rose, along with three other dogs who were also being inadequately cared for.

These loving pups are ready for their forever home. Both dogs are intelligent, friendly, playful, and loving. Although we would prefer to see them placed together, we would place them separately, provided there was another sweet, playful dog in the home. 

We’re looking for a loving home, preferably with owners who are not away for long hours each day. A safe and secure yard to play in would be fantastic!

These love-bugs had a challenging beginning, so we are committed to finding them the best possible forever home!

ShihTzu mix, male, 18 mos, 12 lbs

Auggie came to us after his owner realized he could no longer care for a puppy and decided to surrender him.

The vet has identified that Auggie has albinism, which means he sunburns easily and needs to live in a temperate climate. He will do best in a home with a secure yard with plenty of shade.

This lovable pup is very active and requires a young, playful companion. His best friend, who are also available for adoption, includes Toby, an 18-month-old male Chiweenie and Tali, a 3- year-old female Maltese mix.

Auggie is a cheerful dog who would thrive in an adults-only home or with a family with older children.

Poodle, male, 1 yr, 7lbs.

The Foundation rescued Archie from an owner who no longer wanted him. This poor little guy came to us completely matted, having lived outside without basic, proper care or love. Fortunately, he is now safe with us, and we absolutely adore this little lovebug! Due to the severity of his tangles, we had to shave him down, but his fur will grow back, and soon he will have a beautiful Maltipoo coat!

Archie is a calm, sweet, loving, well-behaved little dog. Given his past experiences, he can be shy at first.

We are looking for a forever home with pet parents who are not away for long hours during the day, as Archie is still learning to trust and love again. He is incredibly sweet and would thrive in a home with another gentle dog, or he could be your one and only, receiving all your love and attention! We cherish this pup so much, and we know you will too!

Poodle/Bichon mix, female, 8-9 yrs, 15 lbs

Cici was abandoned on the streets of San Fernando Valley. She was infested with fleas, undernourished, and had a mangled, broken front leg. Luckily, the kind person who found her contacted our rescue. We immediately took her to a specialist who initially thought that her leg couldn't be saved. Thanks to a successful surgery, Cici made a speedy recovery in just a few months! 

Now, Cici is looking for a patient and loving forever home. She is a bit shy initially, so she needs a home with someone who can give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. She would be happy to be your one and only.

Cici needs an adult-only home with a secure backyard where she can run around, as well as owners who are not gone for long hours during the day. Potential adopters should note that she requires full grooming every 6 weeks. If you're looking for a special, loving pup, Cici will make an excellent companion!

Purebred Toy Poodle, female, 12 yrs, 9 lbs

This is Coco, a fabulous Toy Poodle who is the perfect companion! Don't let her age fool you! She is a spunky senior for sure! 

Coco would do best as your only doggie in an adult-only home or she could be with a calm older dog. She loves to hang out with you, but she is not needy. Coco is happy to sit on the couch by your side and keep you company. 

She is a dog that does not need to go on walks but would prefer to just chill at home where she feels most comfortable. 

She's had a full blood panel and a dental with extractions done, so she is all set to find her forever home!

Chihuahua, male, 3-4 yrs, 12 lbs

This sweet boy came to us after being abandoned. When his owners moved, they dumped their furniture—and Cupid—in front of their house like trash. For weeks, he loyally waited on the couch for his owners to return.

A kind person contacted one of our team members and explained the situation. We immediately rescued Cupid and brought him into our Foundation.

Cupid was in terrible shape—starving and emaciated. It was unclear if he would survive. Fortunately, one of our dedicated fosters took him in and helped nurse Cupid back to health.

Today, Cupid is healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home! 

He is sweet and playful, enjoys other dogs, and would love a canine companion in his new home! Cupid can shy with people until he knows them. He does not like to walk on a leash and needs a home with a secure yard.

Cupid has been through so much. He deserves the very best forever home.

Chiweenie, male, 7-8 yrs, 10 lbs

Eddie was found on the streets of Santa Monica in very poor condition, covered in old scabs and rough lesions. It was evident that he had been abused and most likely hit.

We are seeking gentle, dog-savvy owners who understand that Eddie will need time to decompress and feel safe. He will thrive in a home that allows him to relax and take things at his own pace so he can learn to trust.

An adult-only household would be ideal, with pet parents who are not away for long hours during the day and have a safe and secure backyard for him to play in. While he would be happy as your one and only, a calm dog in the home would also be acceptable.

Sweet Eddie did not deserve the treatment he received in his previous home, but we see the potential he has to become the best dog ever! He loves going on walks, and once he feels comfortable, he is a very loving companion.

Westie/Cairn Terrier mix, male, 

7-8 yrs, 10 lbs

Eli came to us after his elderly owner, who had had him since he was a puppy, sadly passed away. Following her death, he went to live with her son and daughter-in-law, but after a year, they felt unable to keep him. None of the other family members wanted him either.

Fortunately, a friend of the daughter-in-law knew about our rescue and reached out for help. When we saw this sweet boy, we knew we had to take him in! Eli was taken directly to our groomer for a much-needed full spa treatment, and then he went to his foster home, where they shared essential insights about his needs for a forever home.

We are looking for a calm and quiet household with owners who are home most of the day. Ideally, Eli would be your one and only. He coexists well with other dogs but doesn’t typically interact with them. While he is comfortable with women, Eli is very attached to men, so a man in the household is required. A home with a secure yard is ideal, as he enjoys spending time outside. 

This little guy loves his walks and is great on a leash, so an owner who enjoys walks, too, would be perfect!

Eli is incredibly sweet, and once he feels safe in his surroundings, you will see how calm, quiet, and loving he is. His previous owner must have cared for him well, as his teeth are in excellent condition!

This love-bug did not deserve to be abandoned after losing his owners, but we are confident that his perfect forever home is out there!

Puggle mix, male, 18 mos, 19 lbs

Finn is truly a miracle pup!

After being severely neglected and starved, Finn was rescued when an acquaintance of his owner's saw a photo of him. This compassionate person insisted that the owner surrender him immediately.

Finn came to us after an animal advocate reached out and asked if we could take him into our foundation. He arrived literally skin and bones, and we were worried that he might not survive. However, with the care and nurturing of his loving foster mom, he stabilized after twelve intense days and returned to a healthy weight!

Now, Finn is ready for a loving forever home. Initially, he may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he is fully committed! He loves people, as well as dogs and cats. While he could be happy as your only pet, he would also enjoy having a playful companion.

We are looking for owners who are not away from home for long hours during the day. A secure yard would be ideal for Finn to run around in.

This sweet pup deserves a caring and loving home after his difficult start in life. Finn is full of love and will make an excellent companion and addition to his forever family.

This adorable little guy is Gizmo!  

He is such a happy and loving little dog that gets along with everyone he meets! We are looking for a home with another young and playful dog and owners who do not work long hours during the day. A house with a safe and secure backyard would be ideal, as he loves doing zoomies with his doggy friends. 

Although he needs some training with leash walking, he is a quick learner! Gizmo is a special little dog who deserves the best forever home out there!

Chihuahua/Miniature Greyhound mix, female, 10 yrs, 10 lbs

Goldie was rescued from the Santa Monica Shelter after being surrendered by her owner’s daughter. The owner, an elderly woman, could no longer care for Goldie. The daughter had moved in to assist her mother but felt that caring for Goldie would be an additional burden.

We have a close partnership with this shelter, and when we learned about Goldie's situation, we jumped into action. We quickly placed her in one of our wonderful foster homes.

Goldie is a delightful and laid-back dog. Although she is calm and easygoing, she enjoys taking walks and playing with toys. Sweet and quiet, Goldie is also potty-trained with outdoor access. She truly is the perfect companion!

It’s unfortunate that Goldie was given up for no reason, a situation that occurs far too often. We believe that her forever home is out there, and she deserves nothing less than the best!

 Juliette was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Bakersfield. When she arrived she was in rough shape—filthy and in desperate need of grooming, which included multiple baths.

Now, she is in a wonderful foster home where she receives socialization, home-cooked meals, and, most importantly, plenty of love! 

An ideal forever home for her would be an adult-only environment where the owners are not away for extended periods each day. A small, safe, secure backyard for her to play and sunbathe would also be perfect.

 Juliette is a very sweet dog. We are looking for a compassionate, patient home to help her transition into her new life. This special girl deserves the best forever home possible!

Westie/Cairn Terrier mix, female,

Kaylee came to us after her owner surrendered her. 

This doll will be happiest as your one and only. She will make a fantastic companion, and although she takes a little time to warm up to new people, she is great after she gets to know them.

Kaylee would do well in a home with a secure yard and owners who are not gone for long hours of the day. 

She is a dear who is more than ready for a loving, forever home!

Chihuahua, male, 3 mos, 4.5 lbs

Siblings Kip and Chip were two of 14 puppies from two litters that their owners relinquished to a high-kill shelter. Several of the puppies were sick when they arrived, and sadly, two had to be humanely euthanized because they were too weak to survive. 

Safe and cared for by their foster mom, these boys are ready for their forever home! These sweet pups are dream dogs: happy, friendly, playful, love people, and are great with cats and other dogs. While we would love to see these brothers placed together, we would consider adopting them separately, provided there was another young, playful dog in the home. 

We are looking for a loving and caring family, preferably with owners who are not away for extended periods each day. A safe and secure yard for these energetic puppies to play in would be ideal.

Maltipoo, male, 6 yrs, 9 lbs

Lilo came to us with two other dogs, Lexie and Lucy, after they were seen being thrown out of a car window. The dogs were terrified and running into traffic, but fortunately, a kind-hearted person got them to safety. She contacted us to see if we could take them in—and we did! 

This adorable guy can be quite shy when you first meet him and might take some time to warm up, but once he does, he will become your constant companion! He would do well in a home with a young, sweet, small breed dog. A secure backyard would be perfect for him as he loves to run around and bask in the sun.

He is a little anxious around kids, so a home without children would suit him best. He will be happiest with owners who are at home most of the day or work remotely. Being left alone for long periods wouldn't be good for him. Lilo needs grooming every 6-8 weeks and requires daily brushing to avoid matting. He's an amazing pup who has gone through a lot in his young life and deserves a loving, caring forever home!

Mini is a stunning red/white long-haired delight! She is a sweetie who loves everyone she meets! 

We are looking for a home for her with another dog, owners who are not gone long hours during the day, and a secure backyard to run around and play. 

She is a dog that loves to “talk” and chat with you, so be prepared for some fun conversations!

Sweet Nino was found living on the streets in a less-than-ideal area. Fortunately, a kind young woman rescued him and reached out to us for assistance. We immediately agreed to take him in!

Nino has been fully vetted and is a healthy little pup. He is now looking for his forever home!

This adorable guy is bright, happy, energetic, and playful. We are seeking a home for Nino with another sweet dog and owners who aren’t away for long periods during the day. A house with a safe, secure backyard would be ideal, as Nino loves to play and enjoys his zoomies outside with his buddies.

Kelpie mix, male, 9 mos, 30 lbs 

This handsome boy has already survived more than any puppy should. Pharaoh was one of 25 dogs abandoned on a property. When he arrived at the shelter, bite marks covered his young body after being attacked by multiple dogs. 

Despite everything he’s endured, Pharaoh   is a sweet and gentle dog. While at the shelter, he protected and comforted a senior Chihuahua named Mia. Happily, Mia was adopted. 

When we learned Pharaoh’s story—and knowing he was in a high-kill shelter—there was no question that we had to rescue him and find him a forever home! 

Pharaoh a super chill! He is fantastic with other dogs and will be happiest living with a doggie pal his size or smaller. A household with pet parents who are not away for long hours during the day and have a safe and secure backyard for him to play in would be ideal. 

Pharaoh is fully healed from his wounds and ready for the next chapter! This extraordinary pup deserves a caring and loving forever home.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, female,

Poppy is a sweet, resilient dog who was taken to a high-kill shelter after being hit by a car, resulting in severe injuries to both her legs. Just moments before she was scheduled for euthanasia, an incredible rescue team stepped in and transported her directly to a veterinarian. However, the rescue organization struggled to cover the cost of Poppy’s required medical care. Thankfully, with the support of a generous donor and the expertise of our orthopedic surgeon, we were able to provide the necessary treatments. 

Poppy has undergone two corrective surgeries on her front legs and is currently in the care of a loving foster mom, Debbie, and her partner, Lisa, who is a dog trainer. They have lovingly nurtured Poppy back to health. Now, this sweet girl is a true survivor! She is walking well and has been cleared by our veterinarian; she is ready for her forever home!

Poppy would thrive best as the only dog in a household. She craves human companionship and would make an excellent companion or family dog. She is incredibly affectionate, playful, and remains loyal to her “person.” Given all that Poppy has endured in her young life, we are committed to finding her the perfect forever home!

Thankfully, we were able to convince the man to relinquish Remi, along with four other dogs who were also being inadequately cared for.

Remi is a sweet boy who could thrive as the only pet in a home or alongside another friendly dog. We’re looking for a loving home for him, preferably with owners who are not away for long hours each day. A safe and secure yard for Remi to play in would be fantastic!

Ruby was rescued alongside her mother, Juliette, and sister, Topaz, from a dire hoarding situation in Bakersfield. When they arrived, they were filthy and in urgent need of grooming and care. 

Ruby is currently in a wonderful foster home where she receives socialization, home-cooked meals, and, most importantly, lots of love!

Because Ruby is a Dwarf Chihuahua and will remain small, we are looking for owners with experience with tiny dogs. 

An ideal forever home for this sweet girl would be an adult-only environment where the pet parents are not away for extended periods each day. A small, safe, secure backyard where Ruby can play and sunbathe would be perfect.

 Ruby is a shy, loving pup who has been through a lot. We are looking for a compassionate, patient home to help her transition into her new life. She is ready for her forever home and deserves the best!

We rescued Tali from the streets of Tijuana where she was dumped and left to fend on her own. Fortunately, a woman took her in and reached out to rescues in Los Angeles. We stepped up. 

Tali is pure love and bouncy energy. She loves to play, wrestle, and do zoomies with every dog she meets, so an easy-going home that is ok with all that playful energy is a must! 

Tali has never met a dog she didn't like, so this social girl will need another playful pup like her in the home. She's not built to be an "only" dog. 

This charming pup has so much energy and zest for life that she needs a safe and secure backyard where she can run around. If you're looking for a sweet, loving addition to the family, then Tali's for you!

Chiweenie, male, 18 mos, 15 lbs.

This boy is the ultimate cuddly love-bug! 

Toby was found abandoned on the streets. A kind woman treated him for bite wounds on his body and foxtails embedded in his paws. Sadly, the woman couldn't keep Toby, so he had to go to a boarding facility. During this time, she contacted us to see if we could take him.

We seek a very patient, loving, and nurturing home for our sweet boy. He may be shy initially. It took his foster mom two days before he felt safe with her and her family, but once he knew everything was ok, Toby was all about the love! 

Toby will thrive with another young and playful dog in the home! He is AMAZING with other dogs and will do best in an adults-only home. This energetic pup needs a safe and secure backyard to run around. 

Men likely mistreated him so he will need some time to open up to feel safe and loved. We are looking for a home for this  special boy that will give him the time he needs to settle in. He's worth it!
