Apple prefers men and will do best with a male adopter or a home where a man is present. She’s great with other dogs and would love a friendly companion. Because she’s feisty with women and very small, an adult‑only home is ideal.

She may be a senior, but Apple is full of pep — she enjoys walks, toys, and hanging out with her dog friends. She’s ready for a calm, loving home where someone isn’t gone long hours and can give her the affection she deserves.

Archer is a 1‑year‑old, 15lb Maltese mix with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat. He was tossed away in a closed carrier, but even after all that, he remains nothing but love. A kind neighbor found him, reached out for help, and now Archer is safe, adored, and ready for his forever home.

He’s gentle, affectionate, great with people, dogs, and especially cats. He can be your one-and-only or happily join a home with another sweet pet. Because he’s been abandoned once, he needs adopters who aren’t gone long hours and can give him the steady love he deserves.

Eddie was found on the streets of Santa Monica in very poor condition, covered in old scabs and rough lesions. It was evident that he had been abused and most likely hit.

We are seeking gentle, dog-savvy owners who understand that Eddie will need time to decompress and feel safe. He will thrive in a home that allows him to relax and take things at his own pace so he can learn to trust.

An adult-only household would be ideal, with pet parents who are not away for long hours during the day and have a safe and secure backyard for him to play in. While he would be happy as your one and only, a calm dog in the home would also be acceptable.

Sweet Eddie did not deserve the treatment he received in his previous home, but we see the potential he has to become the best dog ever! He loves going on walks, and once he feels comfortable, he is a very loving companion.

Goldie was rescued from the Santa Monica Shelter after being surrendered by her owner’s daughter. The owner, an elderly woman, could no longer care for Goldie. The daughter had moved in to assist her mother but felt that caring for Goldie would be an additional burden.

We have a close partnership with this shelter, and when we learned about Goldie's situation, we jumped into action. We quickly placed her in one of our wonderful foster homes.

Goldie is a delightful and laid-back dog. Although she is calm and easygoing, she enjoys taking walks and playing with toys. Sweet and quiet, Goldie is also potty-trained with outdoor access. She truly is the perfect companion!

It’s unfortunate that Goldie was given up for no reason, a situation that occurs far too often. We believe that her forever home is out there, and she deserves nothing less than the best!
