Our Pet Adoption Process

Please fill out the application below. It is important to be as thorough as possible. The information you provide will help us determine which of our dogs will be the best fit for you!

• After our application is received, we set-up an initial phone chat to answer all your questions and go over our process.

• The next step would be a meet-and-greet with you, your current dog(s) if applicable, and the rescue dog of interest.  This will be done at our foster’s location.

• If all goes well then we conduct a home visit to ensure that your property and home are safe.  We will also need to meet all residents of the household.

• We do not do instant adoptions, rather we have a two-week trial period before finalizing any adoption. This gives you the chance to get to know our dog and see if he/she is a good fit for your family and pets. A dog can always be returned to us during or at the end of the two week trial period, if they are not a good match. We reserve the right to reclaim the dog during the trail period if we feel the dog is unsafe or not appropriate for your home.

• After the trial-period, we require that you sign a contract and send a tax-deductible adoption donation. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchip. If a dog has required any major medical expenses, we do not pass this on to our adopters. Our average adoption range is $450-$650.
