Our latest rescue- the adorable 13-week-old SADIE! She was saved, along with her brother, from the Kern County Shelter, by good friend Lisa Arturo/Big Love Rescue, who was leaving on a trip but was determined to get them to safety. Both pups have front leg deformities, but Sadie has a deformity in both legs. We took in Sadie, while her brother went to, I Stand With My Pack- another great rescue group. Sadie has THE BEST personality! Calm and sweet and super playful with other dogs and cats! Video to be posted soon. She has been seen already by Dr. Guiot, an orthopedic surgeon in the Bone and Joint Center at ACCESS Culver City. He is hoping to be able to first fix her better leg, but we won’t know exactly when until he x-rays her in 2 weeks. Surgery for one leg will run between 5K – 7k so we will be fundraising to help this precious girl.
We will do everything we can to give her the best life possible!
